This popular S. James venue is bringing back the duo of Fremont John with percussionist, Michael Carden. Be there. You will not want to miss it!

If you have never seen this duo before, you may expect to hear an unusual mix of original tunes with some specially selected cover tunes. The original songs will be pulled from Fremont John’s 4 Indie CD releases from 1999’s “Acoustic Thunder” to the most recent release, “Contrarian” in 2013. Instrumental music will come from the 2009 jazz release, “Guitar Songs”. Fremont John, in an online artists poll, was voted #1 original artist in Tampa Bay in 2014. In 2013, ReverbNation ranked F.J. at #5 in their national Indie chart. His song, “The Eagle” was selected as “Runner Up” in the Song of the Year, International songwriting competition.

Michael Carden adds some very nice rhythm punctuation with congas and hand-percussion instruments.  Carden is an excellent drummer but will focus on hand-percussion.  He is a well-schooled congero having studied and practiced the craft of conga playing for over 10 years.  He also brings vocal harmonies to the duo.

Fremont John and Carden have played in many bands together as well as this duo format in countless venues across the eastern USA since 1971.
