Are you in town for the big LHS 5-Class Reunion? Or maybe, LudRock drew you here. Either way, after all that activity and partying, you’re going to want some relaxation. But, a motel room is no place for that.

This is one of FJ’s oldest and longest standing venues.  Heck, it might just be the oldest and longest standing venue.  FJ started playing in the bar portion of this venue (Village Pub) with his band, Alias, back in 1994.  It was only a year or 2 later when he began doing some occasional solo gigs in the restaurant portion, up on the deck of the Village Cafe.  This is a beautiful setting tucked in between, Pentwater’s main street (Hancock) and Pentwater Lake.  You can sit on the sidewalk side and enjoy some very entertaining people-watching while listening to the amazing acoustic sounds of Fremont John and enjoying a terrific meal and a few drinks.  Or, you can sit toward the back side of the deck and watch the boats on Pentwater Lake.  It doesn’t get much better than this.
