This favorite Pentwater dining and music location will present Fremont John every other Sunday through Labor Day weekend.  All the dates are listed on this schedule.

Fremont John is an award winning songwriter. His song, “The Eagle” placed as Runner-Up in the International Songwriting Contest of 2015. His CD, “Contrarian” was submitted to the 2015 Grammys.  It did not receive a nomination but, it did make it to the pre-nom list.  Fremont John was also voted #1 by his peers in an online artists poll for the greater Tampa Bay area. He now resides in Michigan and is considered to be one of west Michigan’s most polished and professional performers.  He possesses a readily recognizable guitar style that is very pleasing to the ear. He is often compared to an acoustic Santana or, Craig Chaquico. His vocal abilities are powerful with comparisons to Roy Orbison, John Fogerty, Rob Thomas and Chris Isaak.

Shows include mostly original music, pulling material from Fremont’s 4 independently released CDs (“Acoustic Thunder”, “Timeline”, “Guitar Songs” and “Contrarian”).  The play list will include several original selections such as “Timeline”, “Contrarian”, “Hey Brother, Jimmy”, and “The Eagle”, as well as some guitar instrumentals like “Europa” and “Walkin’ Song”.  He also does some finely crafted cover arrangements of tunes like “Wicked Game”, “Going To California”, “Summer Breeze”,”Melissa”, “City of New Orleans”, “Horse With No Name” and others. You are not going to want to miss this evening with Fremont John at the Village Cafe. Make a night of it.
