Fans, Friends & Family,
ANNOUNCING: 20th ANNIVERSARY RE-RELEASE OF
ACOUSTIC THUNDER.
1999 – 2019
That’s right, we are already coming up on 20 years since I released my very first CD, recorded with Bob Simms (R.I.P.) at Resounding sold like we’re bringing it back. Pebble hot cakes and now, Studio in Scottville, MI. Its original release date was in September, 1999, my first year in Key West. That CD sold like hot cakes and we’re bringing it back
Acoustic Thunder consists of 12 songs, 8 of which, are originals like “Duval Street” and “I Like It When You Get Me High” and, there are 4 popular covers including, “California Dreaming”, “Can’t Find My Way Home”, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” and, my most frequently streamed and downloaded song, ever, “House of the Rising Sun”.
Acoustic Summer Almost Gone
Can you believe it? It’s August and summer is quickly coming to a close. As much as I hate to see that, I have to say that I love the fall in Michigan. My fall schedule will slow down but, that’s not a bad thing. It allows me time to plan and prepare for our winter trip to Key West and Florida in February, 2019.
I have a couple of dates already booked with the trio at Virgilio’s. There are some serious logistic issues to this trip such as, do we drive or fly. It’s all about what equipment to bring, for me.
LIVING ROOM CONCERTS (House Concerts):
I seek living room venues, for this trip, between the dates of Feb. 08 and, Feb. 24, give or take and in states, from southern Michigan to Florida. This would include, at the least, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennesee, eastern Alabama, Georgia (greater Atlanta area). Best of all I cost you nothing.
Summer in West Michigan
Well, you have to admit that I don’t exactly fill your email inbox with a lot of unnecessary emails. I like to stay in touch. But, I just get way too many emails every day, as I’m sure you do, too. So, unless I actually, have something to say to you or, it has just been long enough that I need to drop by and at least say “Hello”, you don’t hear too much from me. Usually, I feel like I don’t have that much to say. But then, I start writing like this and I find I have plenty.

Summer News, New Mini-Studio, Live CD
After 1-1/2 years and 2 winters in Michigan, we still love being here. Heck, Brielle lives with her mom and dad, right around the corner from us, now. It used to take 9 hours to drive to their place in Atlanta from ours in Sarasota. Now, we cut across the parking lot and we’re there. We get to see so much more of them, now. Continue reading →
